I'm Tim Foster. I'm a pilot, soldier of foutune and a photographer of still and moving pictures based in New York City. I've been photographing since I was twelve years old.
I shoot with medium and large format film when I can, and digital when it's practical.
I enjoy teaching others what I've learned about photography.
I've always been trying to find a vision and figure out what exactly I want to take pictures of. I've found the most success in the edges of the abstract and the real, without trying to find too much meaning in the overlap.
I'm working on developing my cinematography reel. In the meantime, here's my first short film::
